We slid the bathtub across the floor and into the hallway. Then we stood it straight up, pushed it into the bathroom, ripped off the protective wood slats that housed the tub, and laid it down.
From there, we pushed it straight back to the wall -- the problem is, there's the toilet valve coming out of the wall on the right (can't see it in this picture), and the toilet drain to get past. So Tim cut a groove in a 1x4 and put it on a jack along the bottom of one edge, and Anne just pushed the jack slowly and carefully toward the wall while Tim carried it from the other side (up to a certain point). |
